ELECTRODESSICATION TREATMENT FOR DPNs
Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra
Before Your Treatment

Avoid tanning or increased sun exposure for 1 month before the procedure (to reduce risk of discoloration).

Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before (or after) your treatment to avoid extra bruising​.
After Your Treatment

You may experience a mild amount of tenderness or stinging during treatment.

Keep the area moist and covered for the first two days (healing ointment or Vaseline and put a Band-Aid over this). After treatment there will be moderate swelling and redness with possibility of bruising. These symptoms will resolve in about 3-5 days. You may apply Arnica cream or take Arnica tablets to help decrease the amount of bruising.

Avoid laser, IPL or skin tightening treatments of the area for at least 2-3 weeks after the procedure.
