CANTHARDIDIN

After Your Treatment

  • Within 4-6 hours of application, wash off the treated areas with soap and water. Wash off sooner if any pain, burning or discomfort to site.

  • Blistering often occurs within 24 hours and may become painful. Use a cool compress and/or oral pain medication (acetaminophen) as needed to control and pain. Do not remove the blister. If necessary, make a small hole in the blister with a sterile need (by cleaning needle or safety pin with rubbing alcohol) to let fluid out.

  • If you cover the blister with a Band-Aid be sure to keep Vaseline over spots so it does not stick to the Band-Aid.
